Collector Booths

You can purchase tickets and tokens at collector booths, which are located at most subway stations. Subway station collector booths will accept debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) for purchases of $10.00 or more.

Tokens are sold in various quantities at a minimum of 3 tokens for $9.30

  • Senior/Youth tickets are sold in multiples of five or 10.

The following stations do not have collector booths. Instead, they have Customer Service Agents who are available to answer your questions or show you where to purchase your fares.

Monthly Pass and 12-Month Pass

The TTC Monthly Pass and 12 Month Pass are only available on PRESTO. You can purchase a PRESTO card and monthly pass at any Shoppers Drug Mart in the city. You can set the card to youth, post-secondary student or senior (if needed).

Authorized TTC Fare Sellers

Tickets, tokens and passes are also available at over 1,200 Authorized TTC Fare Sellers in Toronto. Available fare types and payment method may vary by location. Search for the nearest authorized TTC Fare sellers, or call Customer Information at 416-393-4636 (INFO) and select "0" for Operator Assisted Service - available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except statutory holidays.

Self-Serve Reload Machines

Self-Serve Reload Machines are available at select TTC subway stations. You can use these machines to load money or a monthly pass onto your PRESTO card or check your balance.

Toronto Pearson International Airport

You can purchase single fare tickets at Toronto Pearson International Airport. There is one TTC ticket vending machine in Terminal 1 and another in Terminal 3.  Both are located inside the terminals near the public transit area of the ground transportation level, just inside from the TTC bus stops. You can use cash or major credit cards anytime of the day or night to purchase tokens and tickets. Detach and deposit the ticket portion into the farebox on the bus, and keep your receipt portion. Ask the bus operator for a transfer if you are planning to continue your trip on another connecting TTC route.
