  • TTC New Year's Eve service
    December 30, 2008
    On New Year’s Eve, service will be free after 12 midnight to 4 a.m. on January 1, 2009. The free service is funded by a coalition of leaders in the entertainment industry - the Toronto Entertainment Alliance.

    December 22, 2008 - At its August 27 Commission meeting, the Toronto Transit Commission approved the implementation of a system-wide cash only pricing strategy for its commuter parking lots.

    December 16, 2008 - New Year’s revelers returning home on January 1 will ride the TTC free between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m., the Toronto Transit Commission and Liberty Entertainment Group announced today.
  • TTC launches next vehicle arrival notification pilot project
    December 15, 2008 - The Toronto Transit Commission today launched its next vehicle arrival notification system. TTC Chair Adam Giambrone launched the pilot project at the Spadina Station streetcar platform.
