TTC proposes ten-minute service all day, every day for key bus routes

Toronto Transit Commission staff, today, released a report that will be considered at the Aug. 26 Commission meeting entitled “Transit City Bus Plan.” The report proposes improved service and reliability on its city-wide bus network, including service every 10 minutes all day, every day on 21 key bus routes.

August 20, 2009 - On Saturday, August 22 (the 88th Annual Warriors’ Day at the CNE) Canadian veterans of war and peacekeeping missions can ride the TTC free of charge.

August 20, 2009 - TTC staff will hold a media briefing tomorrow morning, Friday August 21, at 11 a.m., at the TTC Head Office, 1900 Yonge Street
- TTC adding more buses and streetcars to the CNE
August 19, 2009 - The TTC will be running extra buses and streetcars on all routes heading to the Canadian National Exhibition.
- TTC subway musicians’ auditions kick-off on Friday
August 19, 2009 - The 31st annual TTC Subway Musicians’ Auditions get under way tomorrow, Friday, August 21, with the official ribbon cutting by TTC Commissioner Suzan Hall and CNE President Jim McMillen, as well as a special appearance by TTC Russell Division Streetcar Operator Claire Mineque, the fourth TTC United Way Idol.

August 13, 2009 - The Toronto Transit Commission has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFI) to organizations interested in having original art featured on monthly Metropasses.
The TTC issues news releases and media advisories to local, national and international news media by email.
The public can also receive news from the TTC. Simply register with My TTC e-Services or update your existing profile and select news releases, as well as media advisories
