Changes to TTC’s 501/301 Queen route start Sunday

Starting this Sunday, April 1, through Sunday, June 24, minor adjustments to the TTC’s 501/301 Queen service will change routing and transfer locations between streetcars and buses.

March 26, 2018 - This Friday, the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between Finch West and Wilson stations will close until start of service on Monday morning as TTC crews perform track work related to Automatic Train Control (ATC) installation.
- Bloorcourt mural adorns the TTC Metropass for April
March 26, 2018 - This month, the TTC is featuring art from the Bloorcourt BIA on the April custom Metropass.
- TTC takes subway musicians auditions online
March 21, 2018 - Auditions for the next generation of TTC subway musicians open on April 9. For the first time, auditions will be conducted online with the public able to cast votes for their favourite artists.
- TTC approves new transit services in southwest Toronto
March 21, 2018 - Yesterday, the TTC Board approved new bus services to operate between Park Lawn Loop and Mimico GO Station, as well as along The West Mall from Kipling Station to Sherway Gardens. Both new services are to be implemented by September 2018.
- Reminder: TTC’s Line 3 Scarborough closed this weekend
March 16, 2018 - The TTC is reminding customers that this weekend, Mar. 17-18, Line 3 Scarborough will be closed for track work and maintenance.
- TTC benefits fraud investigation update: 223 employees dismissed
March 14, 2018 - As a part of the TTC’s ongoing benefits fraud investigation, 223 employees have now been dismissed, or resigned or retired to avoid dismissal, for defrauding the TTC’s benefits plan.

March 14, 2018 - The TTC will hold its next Board Meeting on Tues., March 20, 2018 at City Hall.

- TTC launches sixth annual Customer Charter
March 9, 2018 - This week the TTC released its 2018 Customer Charter that includes, among dozens of other new commitments, the introduction of two-hour time-based transfers.

March 8, 2018 - The TTC is reminding customers that this weekend, March 10-11, the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair West and Union stations will be closed for installation work on the new Automatic Train Control (ATC) signal system.
- Free St. Patrick’s Day service on some TTC routes courtesy of Jameson Irish Whiskey
March 8, 2018 - On Sat., Mar. 17, TTC customers will ride free from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on the 501 Queen, 504 King and 514 Cherry routes courtesy of Jameson Irish Whiskey, providing Torontonians with a safe ride to and from local St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

March 6, 2018 - This weekend, March 10-11, TTC crews will continue installation of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) signal system. In order to complete this work, the portion of Line 1 Yonge-University between St Clair West and Union stations will be closed.

March 2, 2018 - Today, TTC Acting CEO Rick Leary and Chief People Officer Gemma Piemontese proudly accepted an award recognizing the TTC as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers from the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers competition.
- TTC recognizes employee excellence, names 2017 Employee of the Year
March 1, 2018 - At an event this evening to celebrate employee excellence, the TTC honoured the late Robert McGrath as its Employee of the Year for 2017.
