The 6 Bay bus route operates generally in a north-south direction between the area of Dupont Street and Bedford Road, and the area of Queens Quay East and Lower Sherbourne Street. It also serves Bay Station on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, the Union Station on Line 1 Yonge-University. Accessible service is provided on the route. Bike racks are available on this route. Union Station is an accessible subway Station.

This route operates all day, every day.

Two services are operated. The 6A (Dupont-Queens Quay & Sherbourne) branch operates seven days a week all day, every day. The 6B (Bloor-Queens Quay & Sherbourne) short-turn branch operates during the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday only.

Southbound 6 to QUEENS QUAY & SHERBOURNE

These buses operate from Dupont Street and Bedford Road via south on Bedford Road, east and south on Davenport Road, south on Bay Street, east on Queens Quay, south, east and north on Dockside Drive to Queens Quay.

Northbound 6A to DUPONT

These buses operate from Dockside Drive and Queens Quay via west on Queens Quay, north on Bay Street, north and west on Davenport Road, and east on Dupont Street to Bedford Road.

Southbound 6 to QUEENS QUAY & SHERBOURNE

These buses operate from Davenport Road and Yonge Street via south on Yonge Street, west on Yorkville Avenue, south on Bay Street, east on Queens Quay, south, east and north on Dockside Drive to Queens Quay.

Northbound 6B to BLOOR (YONGE / DAVENPORT)
